A delicious serving of banana chips can be the perfect dessert during the fast, but also a quick solution when you receive unannounced visits from the guests. This popular snack in India and Cuba can also be served as an aperitif for a festive meal.

Method of preparation

Clean the banana peel and cut into thin slices of about 2 millimeters. In a deep frying pan, put the oil in the frying pan (as a frying pan can be formed) and add the pieces one by one, so that they do not stick to each other.

Gently rub them on both sides and remove them on a platter covered by a paper towel to absorb excess fat.

Sprinkle a little salt, according to your preference.

Method of serving

They are served warm or at room temperature, as a snack before and after the meal.

Preparation tricks

You can replace the salt with cinnamon or other favorite ingredients, which are much healthier (cumin, poppy, sesame, etc.). Before removing them on the platter, let them drain into a sieve, for added oil removal.
