Daily walk of small child

Daily walk of small child

The child's daily walk in the open air is compulsory at 1-2 years for a harmonious growth, but also for an iron health. In an age where children spend more and more time in front of the TV or computer and give up any form of physical movement, it is crucial to open the appetite of the child, as a child, for outdoor activities and walks.

The daily walk of the child from 1 to 2 years is absolutely necessary. In the big cities, where children live in apartments, it is an elementary and daily obligation to get the child out.
Once your child has taken the first steps, you can introduce into the daily routine a short walk in the park or in another safe area for children, to enjoy the air and physical exercises. Now is the age appropriate for a child to fall in love with nature.
It is ideal for these walks to be done in gardens and parks. The child is delighted when he is carried by the hand or carried on his shoulders. Playgrounds, trees, flowers, landscape variation are stimulating elements for the child. The presence of animals is a permanent joy.

In winter, the walks will take place in the nearest garden, where there are spaces for children. In spring, on holidays, with favorable weather, the child will be taken to a more remote place, preferably a non-crowded forest, where one can fully enjoy nature, or at the zoo to see the animals "live".

Exercise will make you stronger and more confident in your own strengths

Encourage the child to go a little longer every day. The stroller can be handy when the child gets tired, but it doesn't make it a habit how many times you want to take your baby from point A to point B, because he won't have the opportunity to tone his leg muscles.
As you grow stronger and have more confidence, walking will turn into a run, which means that parents can start running when they have the opportunity. The whole family will benefit from such exercise. Another great plus is that at the end of the walk your little one will come home and sleep better and deeper than usual.
Most parks have special play equipment for children who do physical exercises and are fun at the same time. With a little luck, your child will also make friends in the park. Take with you a ball so that your little one will learn to throw, catch and kick in it.
Apart from parks, there are plenty of sports courses for young children where they can learn to swim, do gymnastics, play sports etc. This is how you will find out if he has a real talent in sports; Remember that almost all great sportsmen have started small!

The importance of daily walks for the growth and health of the child

Getting the baby out, on the air, is one of the most important activities in the daily routine of the little one. It is not a heavy task for you, as a parent, because the child is, by nature, an active and energetic yarn. In addition, all children love to sit in the air and explore every corner of nature.

If you are staying at home, it is easier for you to take the child out and play with him, because he has a yard and allows him to move and explore from one end to the other. But if you are staying in a block apartment, it is even more important to take the child out daily to avoid the risk of the baby becoming sedentary.

Physical movement and outdoor activities contribute to a beautiful growth and harmonious development of the child, but also to the prevention of obesity and heart disease. In addition, it helps to relax the baby and charge the body with enough energy for a full day. When the child walks in the open air, he makes a physical movement, regardless of whether he practices sports or simply walks.

How long should the 1-2-year-old child walk daily?

The daily time that the child has to spend outdoors, depends on his age, the weather conditions, but also his health. Specialists recommend, at this age, about an hour and a half of physical movement per day (half an hour being structured exercises, and one hour unstructured exercises).

Within the structured physical exercises the organized sport and the games that require physical effort enter. All ball games, tennis, badmington, roller coaster and bicycle or leash walking are ways in which the child does structured exercise. From the category of unstructured physical exercises are those activities that cause the little boy to move, but not necessarily in an organized way. Random runs through playgrounds, park walks and climbing are examples of such activities.

When is the child not allowed to walk?

When there are adverse weather conditions (frost, whiskey, hives, etc.) or when it is very sick, the child is not allowed to go outside. In this case, the rides are stopped. Waiting for the time to return or recovering the child is expected, then the normal outdoor physical movement program will resume.

But it does not mean that he cannot do physical movement in the house. Dancing, obstacle racing or mime are just a few ideas for games and activities that help your child consume calories and energy, even when he or she needs to stay indoors.
