Rice salad

For a late dinner you can prepare a simple rice salad, which is both tasty and healthy.

Preparation time

30 minutes




1 cup rice (200 g)

2 carrots

1/2 box of corn (150 g)

1/2 red bell pepper

2-3 strands green onion

salt pepper

cream (optional)

mayonnaise (optional)

Method of preparation

Bring the rice to a boil in salted water. After the rice is well browned, remove from the heat and rinse in cold water. Let the rice cool.

Clean the carrot and give it to the grinders. Wash the onion, then cut the rounds and chop the pepper into small cubes.

In a large bowl, mix the cooled rice, carrot, onion and pepper, then season the salad with salt and pepper.

Serve salad with a little mayonnaise or a tablespoon of fatty cream.


Sprinkle fresh greens over this salad and serve with toast.

When boiling, add in a saffron rice powder.

If you want to avoid mayonnaise and cream, you can prepare for this salad a dressing of 2 tablespoons of olive oil and a teaspoon of lemon juice.
