Caramel popcorn is a sweet alternative to classic popcorn with salt, and is the most appropriate choice for daily snacks of children and family members. Here is a simple and tasty recipe for picnics, family movie nights or other special occasions!
100 g popcorn
300 g butter
300 g old brown
Method of preparation
Put a portion of corn in a heat resistant bowl with lid and place it in the microwave, about 2.5 minutes, at the highest temperature. Repeat the process until all the corn is finished.
Melt the butter in a saucepan and then add the brown sugar. Let it cook over low heat, so that the sugar melts gradually.
When all the sugar has melted, put the mixture over the whole amount of popcorn and mix well with a large spoon (not by hand, because it is cold). Allow to cool.
The popcorn will become crunchy and delicious.
