The International Festival of the Animation Theater "Joys for Children. Collection shows" the 8th edition, November 22nd - December 1st, 2012 is waiting for a week full of events.
In the second week of the festival, the general public is invited to theater shows dedicated to both children and adults, educational workshops designed to stimulate the creativity of the little ones, conferences that will try to answer essential questions related to the theater for children and adolescents. , as well as book launches.
Theater performances, productions from Romania (Bucharest, Galati, Iasi, Timisoara, Targu Mures, Craiova, Brasov) and from abroad (Denmark, Italy, Germany, Holland, Spain), are waiting for you to enter the beautiful world of stories and to do acquaintance with the wonderful characters.

The educational workshops "Here-There" that took place today, Monday, from 12:00 hours were supported by the Association for Theater and Origami in Romania and represents a program of concrete introduction of the intercultural universe in the world of children (3 - 11 years old) ) appealing to the 5 senses. The program is created by Eugenia Barbu and realized by A.C.T.O.R.
Tuesday from 2:00 pm the little ones and the big ones are waiting for the workshop "Puppets with socks", supported by Gratiela Ene, a workshop of construction and creation of puppets in which the socks come to life!
Also Tuesday at 5:00 pm the RAO publishing house will release 4 books dedicated to small readers: "We numbered up to 10", "The alphabet drawn, easier to learn", "Learn English with the Little Prince" and "Le Francais avec le Petit Prince "and on Wednesday at 17:00 Toma Hogea will launch the book:" About the art of the Romanian puppeteers. Dialogues with the masters of the stage ", a history of the Animation Theater in Romania, alive, spoken, with the great personalities of the guild.
An important section of this festival is the conferences held by leading personalities from the cultural world both in the country and abroad, meant to analyze and debate the situation of the high profile theater in the world, to analyze the Romanian cultural product and to find solutions for integration. it on the international market.
Stephan Rabl, member of the ASSITEJ International Executive Committee, actor and director in various companies, artistic director of prestigious festivals in Austria, will explain more about the "New methods for the theater of children and adolescents" during the conference with this name that will have place Tuesday, November 27, at 19:00.

Also Thursday, from 7 pm Stefan Fischer-Fels, artistic director of the Grips Theater in Berlin and vice-president of ASSITEJ International will give numerous impulses and will ask questions in order to initiate a fruitful discussion with the participants about the challenges for the future of the theater for children.
Wednesday at 15:00, Daniel Klinger will talk about Light design in the theater, Mihaela Michailov will analyze the need for a theater suitable for children and adolescents, in the conference "Whose theater is for children?" which he will support on Wednesday, at 8:00 pm, and Sabina stirb will tell us "Why does PR art need it?" Friday, November 30, 2012, at 3:00 pm.
Also, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday, important working meetings will be held with the directors of animation and children's theaters in Romania.
International Festival of Animation Theater „Joy for Children. Collection Shows ”is organized by the Tandar Animation Theater together with Bucharest City Hall, Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, ASSITEJ Romania and UNIMA Romania and runs from November 22 to December 1. This edition of the festival has the motto "We build bridges. We cross borders" and aims to bring to the attention of the Romanian public different styles of animation and visual theater in the world.
