The SMURD rescue mission began yesterday morning at 9 am A crew of doctor, assistant, pilot and co-pilot took the patient - a baby admitted to Marie Curie Hospital, to be transported to Targu Mures.
The baby was born with a congenital heart malformation and, because of this, his heart risks to stop at any moment. In order to save his life, a heart surgery is required. The baby arrived at Targu Mures. He is admitted to the Cardiovascular Surgery Clinic, is stabilized and monitored.
