The diet with fruits and vegetables is a fairly balanced nutrition plan. Fruits and vegetables are foods that should not be missing from the diet of any person, whether he wants or not to lose weight, but especially if he tries to lose a few kilos.

There are several variants of this diet, one of them being a 3-day plan based on the consumption of these 2 categories of food, with the promise to drop about 2 kilograms!

How does your diet with fruits and vegetables weaken you?

The 3-day diet with fruits and vegetables is a weight-loss plan based on a substantial reduction in caloric intake and the introduction of hyper-calorie foods into the menu, but nutritious enough to ensure proper functioning of the body. Vegetables and fruits are rich in water and fiber, essential nutrients in the body's weight loss process.

In addition, they also contain vitamins and minerals that ensure the nutritional balance of the body, so that no health problems arise. Besides the weight loss effect, the diet of fruits and vegetables energizes the body, fights bloating and some of the common digestive problems. It has a powerful detoxifying effect, eliminating toxins from the body and, along with them, and part of the extra kilos.

3-day diet plan with vegetables and fruits

Day 1

The first day of the diet or the "attack" phase is based on the consumption of one protein shake every 2 hours, instead of breakfast and lunch. Dinner consists of 3-6 cups of mixed vegetables, a serving of lean meat, rich in protein, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil (which you can put over vegetables).

Days 2 and 3

The last days of the diet are dedicated to fruits. It is recommended to consume a serving of fruit every 2 hours, starting at 8:00 and until 18:00. The fruits that are recommended for consumption these days are:

  • mango;
  • bananas;
  • berries;
  • apple.

Dinner, taken around 6:00 pm, includes a meal consisting of 3-6 cups of raw vegetables with half of avocado. On days 2 and 3 of the diet, it is recommended to consume only one protein shake, in the evening, after dinner.

No sport!

Despite the fact that most diets work only if they are supplemented by sports, the specialists do not recommend physical effort in the 3 days of diet.

It is not advisable to venture into cardio or fitness training on days when the caloric intake is so low, and the energy provided by the few foods consumed during this period should be used to perform daily activities.

Being a restrictive and short term diet, the result of losing 2 kilos in 3 days is maintained only if you follow, even after the end of the diet, a nutritionally balanced diet plan. Otherwise, the risk of yo-yo effect (of the return of lost kilograms, plus a few others) is inevitable.
