The gifted children "flee" from Romania


More than 50 thousand gifted youths remained after 1990 abroad and if this exodus continues, we will remain with a poor and aging Romania, President of Gifted Education, Florin Colceag, warned yesterday in a press conference.
"The vast majority are leaving because they need a medium of affirmation, which they cannot find in Romania. More than 50 or 60 thousand gifted children remained after 1990 outside the country" - stressed the president of the Romanian Institute for Advanced Studies and Research (IRSCA) Gifted Education.
