Orange pudding

The orange pudding is a very aromatic dessert, inspired by the French cuisine.

Preparation time

60 minutes




100 g white bread

500 ml milk

1 orange (juice)

150 g butter

6 yellows

6 whites

150 g orange peel

100 g almond

2 oranges, for decoration

fresh strawberry, for decoration

Method of preparation

Mix the orange juice with the milk, then bring everything to a boil. Add the breadcrumbs to this composition and mix until you get a kind of paste.

Mix the butter with the sugar, then add the 6 yolks and the orange peel. Everything is mixed with the previous composition, that of milk and bread, then add the whipped egg whites.

Put the crushed almonds in the dough and pour everything into a heat-resistant pan greased with butter. Leave the pudding in the oven, over medium heat, about 30 minutes.

Serve the pudding after it has cooled, with fresh whipped cream along with the orange slices.
