100 years of research in Romania!
In the year in which 100 years have passed since the appearance of the scouting in Romania, the local centers in Bucharest of the National Organization "Scouting Romania" participate in the Days of the National Military Museum "King Ferdinand I" (May 18-19, 10am - 2pm) : 00).
By attending the parade and festivities, the scouts will pay tribute to those who founded and developed the organization, as well as the role played by the scouts in the years of the First World War.
Along with other interactive activities of historical reconstruction, a series of research workshops will be held in the courtyard of the museum, which will present some of the traditional or more modern activities of its members: wolves (7 - 10 years), fears (11 - 14 years) and explorers (15-18 years).
Inside the museum will be organized the National Centenary Exhibition "100 years of research in Romania". Period uniforms, document photographs, logos and patents, logos and logs, books, brochures and regulations, as well as archival video footage from interwar research events will be presented. The opening of the exhibition will take place on May 15, at 1:00 pm.
The activities and the exhibition will be coordinated by the "Dimancescu" Local Center.
