Couscous with vegetables

Couscous granules, a kind of flour paste originating in northern Africa, have become increasingly popular in Romanian preparations. The soft consistency by boiling and the special taste of the couscous associated with other ingredients make it an excellent candidate for tasty meals in the family. Vegetable couscous recipe is ideal for healthy side dishes or lunches.

250 g each

100 g frozen vegetables

an onion

150 g mushrooms





Method of preparation

Put a few tablespoons of oil in the pan, then add the chopped onion. As soon as it is softened, add the chopped mushrooms and cook for 5 minutes.

Put the frozen vegetables and leave everything to quality, about 8 minutes. Put a liter of boiling water in a bowl, add a pinch of salt and a splash of oil, then squeeze the boil.

When it soaks well, drain it thoroughly and put it over the quality vegetables, mixing dynamically to not stick and adding a tablespoon of vegetables.

Season with salt and pepper, then serve warm, with a few parsley threads on top.
