The Little Modelist Cup at Bucharest Mall
Bucharest Mall, the first mall in Romania, together with the Little Modelist Association, launches at the end of June the competition "Little Modelist Cup". Through this event, Bucharest Mall and Atelier Micul Modelist encourage the development of children's imagination through modeling techniques.
On June 29-30, the Bucharest Mall will host the "Little Modelist Cup" event, during which the 52 participants of the modeling workshop will be awarded for the 3D models made during it.
For two days, their works will be exhibited in the Bucharest Mall, near Imaginarium, on the first floor, and on Sunday, June 30, a jury will decide the winning projects during the Award Festival. The jury consists of Evelyn Badea (RP Metrorex), George Balan (Altstom Director) and Mihai Craciun (professional macheteer). They will establish the classification of the works according to the technical, artistic and realism notes awarded to each individual project.
"Such workshops allow children to develop their scientific creativity, to think about engineering, to see in space and to develop their artistic sense," said Roxana Dumitru, marketing director of Anchor Grup. "We want Bucharest Mall to host such activities for parents and children and bring leisure, educational and fun solutions at the same time," added Roxana Dumitru.
The works registered in the competition reveal year by year, in June, the specialized technical knowledge that the children acquire during the "Little Modelist" workshop by reproducing on a small scale the relief forms, buildings and communication paths, following engineering rules. real. Their works are on a scale of 1: 100.
All children enrolled in the competition will receive diplomas and special prizes: the first prize - awarded to each of the beginner, advanced and expert categories, as well as the workshop prize - awarded to the best three participants who stood out through their talent and passion, managing to learn the technique. modelism despite the barriers of age.
Modeling includes several disciplines: carpentry, drawing, papercraft, painting, architecture, urbanism, transport history, mathematics, geography, history, electrical installations and circuits, airbrushing, different types of mastery, using several types of materials to create structures, relief and landscape.
