British specialists recommend that TV viewing time in children between three and seven years be reduced to 30 minutes daily, because watching TV programs contributes to the appearance of health and behavioral problems. The specialists who studied this subject, coordinated by Professor Aric Sigman, a collaborator of the British Psychological Society, believe that reducing TV viewing time in children should become a medical priority, as is the reduction of the consumption of salt. Vision problems are largely related to television, as are those related to obesity. There is also the risk of developing diabetes.
