Shakespeare School Association for Education has launched the 5th edition of the national creative competition in English "2013 Shakespeare School Essay Competition", under the auspices of the European Year of Citizens.

Shakespeare School Essay Competition is a national competition that stimulates creative thinking, innovation and originality and motivates young people to perfect their English. contest It aims to provide equal opportunities for young people across the country to experience life on a top British university campus and to study English to the highest standards.

Shakespeare School Essay Competition opens the horizon for young Romanians, offering them as camp awards in the UK, a first step towards an elite academic environment. Under the slogan "Write, race, win!" the competition gives young people the confidence that they can go further than they can imagine if their passions and creativity are supported by a quality education.

contest it has national scope, and every year over 4000 children and young people register. Cumulatively, in the previous editions, over 12,000 essays submitted by participants from over 400 localities throughout the country have been corrected and over 140 children and young people have been awarded, 12 of whom have enjoyed the British university experience, participating in international camps in England, on the campuses of top universities such as Oxford, Cambridge or University College London.

Awards offered to the big winners consist of 4 English camps in England and Romania. The big winners will have the chance to experience life on an English campus and to improve their English at home "in" 2-week camps at University College London and Harrow House International College, worth over £ 1500 each. The other prizes consist of English camps in Baisoara, Cluj county, English courses at Shakespeare School, Cambridge exam registration fees, books, dictionaries and countless surprises.

The teachers are also awarded for the support offered to the students. The teacher with the most registered competitors will participate for free as a group attendant in a 2-week camp in England, and the next 20 teachers will receive online training courses.

Participation in the contest is free and open to all young people in Romania who are passionate about English and talented in writing, between 11 and 20 years.

Proposed topics for essays they are unique and represent a challenge for young creative people. Starting from the idea of ​​the European Year of Citizens, students and students will imagine that they are the presidents of a new European state that they can build as they wish.
