Horns with jam, fasting

Horns with jam, fasting

Horns with jam represent a tasty dessert during fasting. Unlike horns, which are more migratory, horns are more practical and prepare faster!

Preparation time: 60 minutes

Difficulty: environment

For dough:

250 g flour

125 ml hot water

2 tablespoons of honey

3.5 g dried yeast

15 g margarine

100 g gem

For syrup:

100 ml of water

2 tablespoons honey

Method of preparation

Mix flour with yeast in a bowl. Melt margarine and honey and add over dry ingredients. Pour the water, gradually, and mix everything with a wooden spoon, until a homogeneous dough forms.

Let the dough rise, until it doubles in volume. Spread the dough on the work table, until you form a round sheet and cut it into 8 equal triangles. Put a teaspoon of jam in the middle of each triangle and then roll them, until you get a horn. Place them on a tray previously covered with baking paper. Grease them with the syrup from the water and honey and place them in the oven, until they are lightly browned.
